In a scenario that a producer sale you a movie on the internet, you need *three professional to make this work. The first one is a web master who build a web site who will create json/xml file for the client. Second you need a software to read the json/xml file, connect to your preferred compatible cloud or network attached storage. Third you need a software to read the content, a media center installed on all your devices connected to your cloud or network attached storage.

*of course, you can integrate the IDC download in the media center, but I think it will be easier for the user to have a dedicated software.
